The At-Large Capacity Building Working Group has selected webinar topics ranging from Best Practices for Participating in ICANN and At-Large to specific policy issue updates, such as Competition, Consumer Trust, and Consumer Choice Review, ccTLD Delegation and Relegation before and after the IANA Transition, and Registrars' Responsibilities Toward New gTLD Development. Webinars also incorporate pop-quizzes and other interactive learning elements.
We invite you to begin (or to expand!) your knowledge of the ICANN community by enrolling in this free course and exploring the webinars that interest you. Be sure to participate by making comments in the discussion areas. Feel free to raise questions and staff will ensure that the knowledgeable instructors are prompted to answer your questions and provide feedback where relevant. We hope you enjoy these webinars and the ones to come!
Within the At-Large Community's bottom-up, tiered structure, the ALAC is the primary organizational home for the voice and concerns of the individual Internet user. Representing the At-Large Community, the 15-member ALAC consists of two members selected by each of the five RALOs and five members appointed by ICANN's Nominating Committee. Advocating for the interests of end-users, the ALAC advises on the activities of ICANN, including Internet policies developed by ICANN's Supporting Organizations; it also participates in ICANN's outreach and engagement programs. In addition, the ALAC and the At-Large Community select a Director to serve on ICANN's Board of Directors.
